Palmer - The rotund Chairman of the Space Program for the Shinra Electric Power Company. Along with Rufus, Palmer's appearance in Rocket Town tricks Cid into believing that the Space Program is being restarted, and that the Shinra No. 26 may launch again. It is during this visit to the town that the party fights him, a battle which ends with Palmer getting hit by one of the Shinra's own trucks. Palmer survives this accident to later launch the Huge Materia into space with the Shinra No. 26.

Reno - A nightstick-wielding member of the Turks who has an easygoing air about him. Reno is first encountered after Cloud's fall into Aeris' church, where the Turk is on a mission to capture the Ancient for Shinra. He can be seen several times afterwards; some of these appearances include the Sector 7 Pillar (where he sets the self-destruct sequence), Junon (first in a diner with Tseng and Elena, later on at the Submarine Dock, where he sics Carry Armor on the party), and Gongaga (where he asks Rude who he likes). Speaking of that last bit, unlike the rest of his comrades in the Turks, Reno has no known romantic preoccupations.
The last place the party sees him is in the Midgar train tunnels, where they're given the option to fight him, Rude, and Elena.

After Meteor is summoned, Rufus leads the company in fighting back against Weapon and Meteor itself, and makes plans to go after Sephiroth. Shera - A technician who resides in Rocket Town with Cid Highwind. She worked on the Shinra No. 26, but at a sluggish pace; it was due to her prolonged safety check during the rocket's final countdown that Cid aborted the launch. This launch was never rescheduled, and Cid remained mad with her ever since. Later on, after the Shinra No. 26 launches with the aim of destroying Meteor, it's revealed that the tank Shera had been inspecting during the original launch had been malfunctioning after all, and it explodes, leaving Cid trapped under a giant chunk of the tank. Shera helps the others to free Cid, and the latter apologizes to her.

Compilation Appearances: Tifa's dad can be seen in Last Order.

Tseng - The leader of the Turks, Tseng has been employed with the Shinra for several years, taking on missions such as capturing Aeris, whom he happens to have a crush on.       After working with Cait Sith to secure the Keystone, Tseng and Elena head to the Temple of the Ancients to investigate it. While there, Tseng talks to—and is stabbed by—Sephiroth. Tseng heads back to the Temple's entrance, where Aeris cries over him and he gives Cloud the Keystone. Throughout the rest of the game, Tseng is not seen again.
Compilation Appearances: Tseng is prominently featured in Before Crisis, Last Order, and Crisis Core, and plays a small role in Advent Children.

Five years later, the party can find a letter from Zangan addressed to Tifa by her piano; attached to this letter is her Level 4 Limit Break manual.
Compilation Appearances: Zangan can be seen in Last Order.
