After many years of being a static website, in 2004 the Citadel made its transition to a dynamic format. What follows are a list of the programs and scripts which made this possible. --Reeve

Greymatter (Open Source)

This powerful and versatile weblog script is used on the main page for posting and cataloging the site updates.

eFiction (General Public License)

Used in the Article Archive and Fanfiction sections, this script allows for organization of these written contributions like never before seen on the Citadel.

Active Newsboard (shareware?)

Used via the Yellow Orb page.

Highslide (Open Source)

Used in the Fanart section, this script gives visitors a more dynamic and exciting way of viewing images.

This layout of the Final Fantasy VII Citadel was created and implemented Summer 2004 by Reeve. It was tested in a number of browsers under Windows and Mac OS X; what follows is a list of those which display the site correctly. Note that older versions of these browsers, as well as programs that are not listed, may not display the site as intended:

Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows)
Mozilla 1.6 (Windows)
Mozilla 1.7.2 (Mac OS X)
Safari 1.2 (Mac OS X)

Also note that for best results, a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher is recommended. The fanart section requires Javascript to be enabled to function correctly.
