07/30/2007: "Fanfiction: Sweet as Candy, A day on the farm and Sacrifices update"

We have a nice round of new additions to the Fanfiction Archive today, with two new writers joining out midst. First up we have Hirondelle, who has sent in her short story. "Sweet as Candy" is an illustration of Sephiroth's thoughts, five years ago at Nibelheim, where he finds -and loses- something as sweet as candy. It's a great read so check it out. Rated PG-13.

Next we welcome Jacinth Nun to the Citadel. His short, "A day on the farm", is a humorous tale suggesting how the party may have actually discovered the Choco/Mog materia and stars Cloud, Barrett and Yuffie. It's rated G and is a good laugh, so give it a read.

Finally, they're not all short stories with the next addition to Yuronova's "Sacrifices". This is the second to last chapter, so expect the conclusion to appear on the Citadel soon!

Thank you to every one who submitted their work to the Citadel. As usual, if you have an article or a piece of fanfiction you would like to send in, please make sure you read the submission policies first.

How long has sacrafices been going for? Two years ago, when I first discovered this wonderous website, it was one of the fan fics that I first read. It's been so long, I can't even imagine it ending...

I love the cloud picture, it was not what I was expecting! Since he is my favorite, I was looking forward to his the most. I'm not sure who to thank, as the Citadle as not mentioned the artist.

Sacrifices has been going for a while, I will admit. I believe I started it at least a year and a half ago. I hope it's been a decent read for the Citadel's audience.
