04/15/2006: "Advent Children Competition, Citadel Survey, More"

There's much to talk about today. For starters, our second Advent Children -themed competition is now open, and the prizes this time around are AC DVDs! Check out this page for all the details. Note that this competition only runs for two weeks, so get your entries in soon!

Secondly, a visitor's survey has been set up here. This survey will help us get a better idea of who our visitors are, so please take a moment out to answer the questions.

Next, you may notice that the most recent frontpage posts (including this one) are now open to comments. If you have anything to say about any update, you may do so there (but note that spam and other abuse will be dealt with accordingly). Please let me know immediately if you come across any bugs or glitches while using this new commenting system. And while I'm at it, I'd like to send a shout-out to Silverwolf at our affiliate UFFSite.net for his advice while getting this system off the ground.

Now before I go, there is some new content today! The AC FAQ is now up-to-date, and five illustrations from Shonen Gangan have been added to the AC Images & Media page.

Loveing the comment system. :) Anyway, I noticed you updated the FAQ with the UK release date. What concerns me is there has still been no major promotion of it. Square are really going to lose sales if they go for a silent release, which makes me suspect we wont be getting it on April 24th. However, I will be in town that day so I'll be sure to let you know. ;)

Yes...I'm concerned about the UK date, too. But there is a chance, for the fact that the UK DVD's are allways distriputed on a Monday. Let's just hope, eh!

Indeed. It would also be sensible from Square's POV, otherwise UKians will be able to pirate a English version.

CloudANDTidus: The April 24th date for the UK looks like a go to me, but I guess you'd be the better judge of that than me ^_~ Let me know how things go next Monday ^_~

Love the comment system, Reeve. It's a nice touch. And as for the 24th, I've seen adverts in a few shops around here. I really hope it's true!
