More Dirge of Cerberus Stuff

So, Dirge of Cerberus is now out in Japan, along with Gackt's single "Redemption" (in both regular- and limited-edition versions); meanwhile, the DC Original Soundtrack (again, in two versions) will be released on February 15th. As for the Citadel, two recent official wallpapers have been added to the DC Images & Media page, and the AC FAQ has been updated, mostly for information regarding its possible English-language release date (no, there hasn't been one announced yet). If you're curious as to what DC itself is like, there's currently a discussion going on in the Forums; however, please note that there are SPOILERS present.

Another Technical Update, New Fanworks

The Fanfiction section has now been fully restored, albeit with a minor change or two. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience to both our visitors and contributors.

Speaking of fanfics, Yuronova's Sacrifices, located under Epics, has been updated with two new chapters. Also new today are three pieces by Wyna Hiros in the Fanart section.

New Dirge of Cerberus Magazine Scans

A large batch of scans from Dengeki PlayStation and Famitsu have recently surfaced; thanks goes out to Secluded on the Forums for posting them (by way of Be aware that these scans are rather large, there are SPOILERS present, and direct-linking from the Citadel is not allowed.

New DC adverts

Two new Dirge of Cerberus TV adverts have been aired in Japan and can now be viewed on the official Squeenix Dirge of Cerberus site. Whilst one shows primarily gameplay footage, the other seems to be comprised of what appears to be FMV cut scenes from the game (and quite impressive they are too).

Head on over to the Official DC page and check out the PV section to view the adverts called CM Pattern A and B (beware that SPOILERS, as well as ridiculous loading times in general, abound).

Thanks go to CloudANDTidus on the forums for his thread on the subject (spoilers here too, people).

Technical Update and More

The Article Archive is now fully-functional again, with all the articles back in place. You may notice that the "2002-2003" and "2004-2005" subsections are now combined, and a recently rediscovered piece by Ambigore has been added to the "2000" subsection, but otherwise, no major changes have been made. As a reminder, all of the old reviews have been permanently lost.

A couple additional notes: the Search function is now operating again, and restoration of the Fanfiction section is in the works. We'll keep you posted regarding the latter. Also, there's been some staff shuffling as of late, which has been noted on the (slightly-redesigned) Staff page.

And now, some new content! In the FFVII Encyclopedia subsection under Game Information, we have two contributions by Schala-Kitty. First is an FFVII Timeline, covering various events from both the original game and the Compilation; second is a translated version of the Character Relationship Chart from the Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Omega, which was published in Japan late last year.

Technical Difficulties

The Article Archive and Fanfiction sections are currently not operating correctly; please bear with us as we work to correct the problem.

ETA (01/08/06): We are in the midst of restoring the Article Archive and Fanfiction sections. It will be a slow process, but we should be able to return both sections to their original state, save for one aspect-- unfortunately, all reviews have been permanently lost. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Fun With Vincent Valentine

Today on the Citadel, we have five (yes, five!) newly-released official Dirge of Cerberus wallpapers. Each wallpaper design comes in three different sizes, all of which can be downloaded from the DC Images & Media page.

Also posted today are four new fanart pieces by Wyna Hiros, featuring Vincent, Hojo, and Lucrecia. Be sure to check them out!
