09/10/2013: "It's Official: Theatrhythm Gets a Sequel"

The sequel to Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, subtitled Curtain Call, was officially announced in this week's issue of Shonen Jump. As with its predecessor, Curtain Call is a 3DS exclusive and will include over 60 characters and 200 songs, as well as a multiplayer "versus battle" mode.

This announcement came not long after a trademark for the game's title was filed in the United States.

We'll keep an eye out for more details as they become known.
