Happy Valentine's Day! In the news: IGN recently posted a number of photos of the upcoming Limited Edition release of Advent Children, including the outer packaging, character booklet, script, and postcards. As a reminder, this Region 1 DVD set is due for release on February 20th, for the retail price of $49.95.

I still say a FFVII book or movie based solely from the game is the good option.

I've probably mentioned this before, but the Japanese did get a book some years ago that contains the entire script of FFVII (there were ones for FFVIII, FFIX, and [I think] FFX as well). Unfortunately, they're out of print now and very hard to find.

Anyway, that's the closest thing I know of that's an official "novelization".

When you really think about it, a video game is just like one of those 'choose your own endings' books. But most games that become movies get ruined in the process, so I'm not too psyched to hear about a live action version of VII. A film like Advent Children would be pretty good, but only if they got good voice actors, becouse let's face it, the english dub of AC was pathetic.
