Vincent's Age (3rd Version, all bugs worked out hopefully)

I've become mildly obsessed with the subject and here are my latest numbers:

Years before game/what happened

5/Sephiroth goes to Nibelheim (with Cloud but he's not part of this)

15/War was fought around here because Aeris was 6-7 during it (train station scene)

15-22/Gast shot sometime between the war and Aeris's birth

22/Aeris born

35-40/Rough area of Sephiroth project as determined by the fact the Sephiroth fought in the war that happened about 15 years before the game and he must have been at least 20-25 at that time, Gast was probably in his 30s and Hojo about 25 during this thing, Vincent was probably also about 25 at the time (or 27 as provided by the manual)

How it reads:

Aeris was about 6-7 when the war was fought and she's 22 now. Sephiroth fought in the war making him a minimum of 20-25 at that time. That makes Sephiroth about 35-40 at game time. Vincent was probably 27 at the time when he was mutated by Hojo and put to sleep for the next 35-40 years. He just started where he left off (thank you to Lippke to putting me on to the 'stasis' theory that solved most of the holes in my theory. You rock dude!). Thus Vincent is in his 60s like Hojo is during the game but since he's been sleeping the last 35-40 years Vincent is 27 after all.


Assumptions made:

Aeris was 6-7 during the war

Sephiroth has a normal human growth rate (he is the product of a insane guy's experiment with 2000 year old super monster cells you know)

Vincent has not counted the years he was sleeping towards his age

I finally think I've gotten it nailed down (except Aeris's remark about Tseng and her playing together when they were both kids but that's another story).
